The impact of PD-1on bacterial clearance, immune cell activity, and metabolism was evaluated via colony counting, histopathology, flow cytometry, multiplex immunofluorescence, transcriptomics, and metabolic profiling. PD-1−/− mice exhibited increased susceptibility to MAB. Late infection featured further Th1 decline, neutrophil rise, and enhanced glycolysis. Peripheral blood displayed lower CXCL9 but elevated IL-6, IL-21, IL-27, CXCL2, CXCL10, and S100A8 production.","dates":{"publication":"2026/04/14"},"accession":"GSE317955","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9483554","GSM9483553","GSM9483564","GSM9483556","GSM9483555","GSM9483550","GSM9483561","GSM9483560","GSM9483563","GSM9483552","GSM9483562","GSM9483551","GSM9483558","GSM9483557","GSM9483559"],"GPL":["34290"],"GSE":["317955"],"taxon":["Mus musculus"]}}
