Using a Hepa1-6 xenograft model in C57BL/6 mice, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell populations were analyzed by flow cytometry. Although overall HSPC frequencies did not differ between tumor-bearing and control mice, tumor size positively correlated with HSPC numbers.
