Organoids were stimulated with IFNγ and TNF to model inflammatory injury observed in IBD. Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to characterise cytokine-driven gene expression programs associated with inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) activation, epithelial stress responses, mitochondrial apoptosis, and inflammatory signalling pathways. Comparative transcriptomic analyses identified inflammatory and cell death-associated gene signatures induced by IFNγ/TNF treatment and revealed molecular pathways linked to epithelial injury in human intestinal organoids. These data provide a resource for understanding how inflammatory cytokines regulate epithelial cell death and transcriptional remodelling in the intestinal epithelium during IBD-associated inflammation.","dates":{"publication":"2026/09/03"},"accession":"GSE330696","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9730609","GSM9730629","GSM9730618","GSM9730607","GSM9730606","GSM9730628","GSM9730617","GSM9730622","GSM9730611","GSM9730600","GSM9730621","GSM9730610","GSM9730599","GSM9730598","GSM9730620","GSM9730627","GSM9730616","GSM9730604","GSM9730625","GSM9730614","GSM9730603","GSM9730613","GSM9730624","GSM9730602"],"GPL":["18573"],"GSE":["330696"],"taxon":["Homo sapiens"],"PMID":["[42658927]"]}}
