HexA strongly represses expression of ipdC gene, which encodes indole-3-pyruvic acid decarboxylase. To identify the flux-associated genes regulated by HexA, we performed RNA-seq analysis comparing the wild-type strain PCC27 with the hexA mutant, the ipdC mutant, and hexA/ipdC mutant. This study provides comprehensive transcriptomic profiles that reveal how HexA influences gene expression in connection with indole metabolism.","dates":{"publication":"2026/05/22"},"accession":"GSE331124","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9739378","GSM9739377","GSM9739376","GSM9739386","GSM9739375","GSM9739385","GSM9739384","GSM9739383","GSM9739382","GSM9739381","GSM9739380","GSM9739379"],"GPL":["36095"],"GSE":["331124"],"taxon":["Pectobacterium carotovorum"]}}
