However, time-resolved transcriptomic resources for this tissue remain limited. Here, we generated a bulk RNA-seq time-series dataset from extraorbital lacrimal glands of male C57BL/6J mice maintained under a controlled 12:12 light-dark schedule. Tissue samples were collected at 3-h intervals across a 24-h cycle, yielding eight time points with three biological replicates per time point. Libraries were prepared from total RNA and sequenced as 150-bp paired-end reads. This dataset provides a reusable temporal transcriptomic resource for downstream studies of lacrimal gland biology, ocular surface physiology, and gene-expression dynamics under defined light-dark conditions.","dates":{"publication":"2026/06/22"},"accession":"GSE333177","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9758452","GSM9758441","GSM9758440","GSM9758451","GSM9758461","GSM9758450","GSM9758460","GSM9758439","GSM9758456","GSM9758445","GSM9758455","GSM9758444","GSM9758443","GSM9758454","GSM9758453","GSM9758442","GSM9758449","GSM9758438","GSM9758459","GSM9758448","GSM9758458","GSM9758447","GSM9758446","GSM9758457"],"GPL":["23479"],"GSE":["333177"],"taxon":["Mus musculus"]}}
