However, time-resolved transcriptomic resources for this tissue remain limited. Here, we generated a bulk RNA-seq time-series dataset from extraorbital lacrimal glands of male C57BL/6J mice maintained under a controlled 12:12 light-dark schedule. Tissue samples were collected at 3-h intervals across a 24-h cycle, yielding eight time points with three biological replicates per time point. Libraries were prepared from total RNA and sequenced as 150-bp paired-end reads. This dataset provides a reusable temporal transcriptomic resource for downstream studies of lacrimal gland biology, ocular surface physiology, and gene-expression dynamics under defined light-dark conditions.</description><dates><publication>2026/06/22</publication></dates><accession>GSE333177</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9758452</GSM><GSM>GSM9758441</GSM><GSM>GSM9758440</GSM><GSM>GSM9758451</GSM><GSM>GSM9758461</GSM><GSM>GSM9758450</GSM><GSM>GSM9758460</GSM><GSM>GSM9758439</GSM><GSM>GSM9758456</GSM><GSM>GSM9758445</GSM><GSM>GSM9758455</GSM><GSM>GSM9758444</GSM><GSM>GSM9758443</GSM><GSM>GSM9758454</GSM><GSM>GSM9758453</GSM><GSM>GSM9758442</GSM><GSM>GSM9758449</GSM><GSM>GSM9758438</GSM><GSM>GSM9758459</GSM><GSM>GSM9758448</GSM><GSM>GSM9758458</GSM><GSM>GSM9758447</GSM><GSM>GSM9758446</GSM><GSM>GSM9758457</GSM><GPL>23479</GPL><GSE>333177</GSE><taxon>Mus musculus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
