Blood samples were drawn within 6 days of delivery (t0) and at 12 weeks postpartum (t4). Participants were assessed longitudinally for postnatal depression (EPDS), perceived stress (PSS-10), and mother-infant attachment (MPAS). A subset of N = 247 participants with complete blood sampling was used for methylation analysis; mothers with the most severe depressive symptoms (PPD group, n = 17, DSM-5 confirmed) were compared to a euthymic healthy control group (HC, n = 24). Genome-wide methylation profiling was performed using the Illumina Infinium Human MethylationEPICv2 BeadChip. Differential methylation analysis was conducted using the ChAMP package (BMIQ normalization, limma-based DMP calling). The goal of this study is to identify epigenetic signatures associated with postpartum depression.</description><dates><publication>2026/09/22</publication></dates><accession>GSE335141</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9806619</GSM><GSM>GSM9806612</GSM><GSM>GSM9806656</GSM><GSM>GSM9806611</GSM><GSM>GSM9806655</GSM><GSM>GSM9806614</GSM><GSM>GSM9806658</GSM><GSM>GSM9806657</GSM><GSM>GSM9806613</GSM><GSM>GSM9806616</GSM><GSM>GSM9806659</GSM><GSM>GSM9806615</GSM><GSM>GSM9806618</GSM><GSM>GSM9806617</GSM><GSM>GSM9806650</GSM><GSM>GSM9806652</GSM><GSM>GSM9806651</GSM><GSM>GSM9806654</GSM><GSM>GSM9806610</GSM><GSM>GSM9806653</GSM><GSM>GSM9806623</GSM><GSM>GSM9806622</GSM><GSM>GSM9806589</GSM><GSM>GSM9806625</GSM><GSM>GSM9806624</GSM><GSM>GSM9806627</GSM><GSM>GSM9806626</GSM><GSM>GSM9806629</GSM><GSM>GSM9806628</GSM><GSM>GSM9806661</GSM><GSM>GSM9806584</GSM><GSM>GSM9806660</GSM><GSM>GSM9806583</GSM><GSM>GSM9806663</GSM><GSM>GSM9806586</GSM><GSM>GSM9806585</GSM><GSM>GSM9806662</GSM><GSM>GSM9806588</GSM><GSM>GSM9806621</GSM><GSM>GSM9806620</GSM><GSM>GSM9806587</GSM><GSM>GSM9806664</GSM><GSM>GSM9806634</GSM><GSM>GSM9806633</GSM><GSM>GSM9806636</GSM><GSM>GSM9806635</GSM><GSM>GSM9806638</GSM><GSM>GSM9806637</GSM><GSM>GSM9806639</GSM><GSM>GSM9806593</GSM><GSM>GSM9806592</GSM><GSM>GSM9806595</GSM><GSM>GSM9806594</GSM><GSM>GSM9806597</GSM><GSM>GSM9806630</GSM><GSM>GSM9806596</GSM><GSM>GSM9806599</GSM><GSM>GSM9806632</GSM><GSM>GSM9806631</GSM><GSM>GSM9806598</GSM><GSM>GSM9806591</GSM><GSM>GSM9806590</GSM><GSM>GSM9806609</GSM><GSM>GSM9806608</GSM><GSM>GSM9806645</GSM><GSM>GSM9806601</GSM><GSM>GSM9806600</GSM><GSM>GSM9806644</GSM><GSM>GSM9806603</GSM><GSM>GSM9806647</GSM><GSM>GSM9806602</GSM><GSM>GSM9806646</GSM><GSM>GSM9806605</GSM><GSM>GSM9806649</GSM><GSM>GSM9806648</GSM><GSM>GSM9806604</GSM><GSM>GSM9806607</GSM><GSM>GSM9806606</GSM><GSM>GSM9806641</GSM><GSM>GSM9806640</GSM><GSM>GSM9806643</GSM><GSM>GSM9806642</GSM><GPL>33022</GPL><GSE>335141</GSE><taxon>Homo sapiens</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
