To determine how exposure to a defined consortium of enteric microbes alters systemic transcriptional programs, whole blood was collected from specific pathogen-free control mice and mice exposed to the IMPACT4 microbial consortium. RNA was extracted from the blood leukocytes and subjected to bulk RNA sequencing.
