This study investigated multi-omics measurement in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patient cohort to associate tumoral lipidome, transcriptome, and serological metabolome to disease prognosis. Data indicating that dietary related ether-lipids, e.g., PC O- and PE O-, promote cell mobility and poor prognosis through TRPV2-related cytoskeletal rearrangement. In addition, downregulation of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor α (PPARα) and consequential lipophagic deficit increase ether-lipids in cancer cells. Unfortunately, pathological coupling of Very Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor (VLDLR) overexpression in HCC patients concordantly deteriorates ether-lipid accumulation and facilitates HCC progression via VLDL uptake. Knocking out hepatic VLDLR reduces HCC burden in a spontaneous mouse model. Administration of VLDL-mimicking nanoparticles encapsulating lenvatinib or fenofibrate effectively suppresses tumor progression. This series contains RNA sequencing data generated from adjacent normal liver tissues collected from the same HCC patient cohort.","dates":{"publication":"2026/08/25"},"accession":"GSE339353","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9894032","GSM9894073","GSM9894072","GSM9893987","GSM9893988","GSM9893985","GSM9893986","GSM9893983","GSM9893984","GSM9894071","GSM9894070","GSM9893990","GSM9894002","GSM9894046","GSM9893991","GSM9894045","GSM9894001","GSM9894044","GSM9894000","GSM9894043","GSM9894042","GSM9893998","GSM9893999","GSM9894009","GSM9893996","GSM9894008","GSM9894007","GSM9893997","GSM9894006","GSM9893994","GSM9894005","GSM9893995","GSM9894049","GSM9894004","GSM9894048","GSM9893992","GSM9893993","GSM9894047","GSM9894003","GSM9893989","GSM9894013","GSM9894057","GSM9894056","GSM9894012","GSM9894011","GSM9894055","GSM9894010","GSM9894054","GSM9894053","GSM9894052","GSM9894051","GSM9894050","GSM9894019","GSM9894018","GSM9894017","GSM9894016","GSM9894059","GSM9894015","GSM9894014","GSM9894058","GSM9894024","GSM9894068","GSM9894067","GSM9894066","GSM9894065","GSM9894064","GSM9894063","GSM9894062","GSM9894061","GSM9894028","GSM9894027","GSM9894026","GSM9894025","GSM9894069","GSM9894060"],"GPL":["24676"],"GSE":["339353"],"taxon":["Homo sapiens"]}}
