A controllable post-ESD-like rat model was established using a customized 3D-printed mechanical injury device. Bulk RNA sequencing of esophageal tissues collected 28 days after injury identified 892 differentially expressed genes between untreated control and mechanically injured rats, including 577 upregulated and 315 downregulated genes. Functional enrichment indicated inflammatory responses, cytokine signaling, extracellular matrix organization, wound healing, TNF signaling, IL-17 signaling, focal adhesion and ECM-receptor interaction. These data characterize inflammation-associated fibrotic remodeling in mechanical injury-induced esophageal stricture.</description><dates><publication>2026/08/16</publication></dates><accession>GSE343352</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9949659</GSM><GSM>GSM9949664</GSM><GSM>GSM9949663</GSM><GSM>GSM9949662</GSM><GSM>GSM9949661</GSM><GSM>GSM9949660</GSM><GPL>25947</GPL><GSE>343352</GSE><taxon>Rattus norvegicus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
