Nobiletin (NOB), a natural polymethoxyflavone, has been reported to exert protective effects in cardiovascular disease models. To investigate the transcriptional changes associated with DOX-induced cellular injury and the potential protective effects of NOB, RNA sequencing was performed in H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts subjected to different treatments. H9c2 cells were divided into four groups: control (CON), nobiletin-treated (NOB), doxorubicin-treated (DOX), and doxorubicin plus nobiletin-treated (DOX+NOB) groups, with three biological replicates per group. Cells were treated with 100 μM NOB and/or 1 μM DOX for 24 h, according to the experimental group. Transcriptomic profiles were generated using paired-end sequencing on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. The resulting RNA-seq dataset provides a resource for characterizing transcriptional responses to DOX exposure and investigating the potential molecular effects of NOB in the context of DOX-induced cellular injury.","dates":{"publication":"2026/08/23"},"accession":"GSE344097","cross_references":{"GSM":["GSM9970589","GSM9970600","GSM9970597","GSM9970596","GSM9970599","GSM9970598","GSM9970593","GSM9970592","GSM9970595","GSM9970594","GSM9970591","GSM9970590"],"GPL":["25947"],"GSE":["344097"],"taxon":["Rattus norvegicus"]}}
