Nobiletin (NOB), a natural polymethoxyflavone, has been reported to exert protective effects in cardiovascular disease models. To investigate the transcriptional changes associated with DOX-induced cellular injury and the potential protective effects of NOB, RNA sequencing was performed in H9c2 rat cardiomyoblasts subjected to different treatments. H9c2 cells were divided into four groups: control (CON), nobiletin-treated (NOB), doxorubicin-treated (DOX), and doxorubicin plus nobiletin-treated (DOX+NOB) groups, with three biological replicates per group. Cells were treated with 100 μM NOB and/or 1 μM DOX for 24 h, according to the experimental group. Transcriptomic profiles were generated using paired-end sequencing on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. The resulting RNA-seq dataset provides a resource for characterizing transcriptional responses to DOX exposure and investigating the potential molecular effects of NOB in the context of DOX-induced cellular injury.</description><dates><publication>2026/08/23</publication></dates><accession>GSE344097</accession><cross_references><GSM>GSM9970589</GSM><GSM>GSM9970600</GSM><GSM>GSM9970597</GSM><GSM>GSM9970596</GSM><GSM>GSM9970599</GSM><GSM>GSM9970598</GSM><GSM>GSM9970593</GSM><GSM>GSM9970592</GSM><GSM>GSM9970595</GSM><GSM>GSM9970594</GSM><GSM>GSM9970591</GSM><GSM>GSM9970590</GSM><GPL>25947</GPL><GSE>344097</GSE><taxon>Rattus norvegicus</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
