To discover molecular features of triple-negative breast cancer, we performed quantitative proteomics analysis of twenty human-derived breast cell lines and four primary breast tumors to a depth of more than 12,000 distinct proteins. We used this data to identify breast cancer subtypes at the protein level and demonstrate the precise quantification of biomarkers, signaling proteins, and biological pathways by mass spectrometry. We integrated proteomics data with exome sequence resources to identify genomic aberrations that affect protein expression. We performed a high-throughput drug screen to identify protein markers of drug sensitivity and understand the mechanisms of drug resistance. The genome and proteome provide complementary information that, when combined, yield a powerful engine for therapeutic discovery. This resource is available to the cancer research community to catalyze further analysis and investigation."],"pubmed_title":["The proteomic landscape of triple-negative breast cancer."],"pubmed_authors":["Lawrence Robert T RT,Perez Elizabeth M EM,Hernández Daniel D,Miller Chris P CP,Haas Kelsey M KM,Irie Hanna Y HY,Lee Su-In SI,Blau C Anthony CA,Villén Judit J,","Lawrence Robert T RT, Perez Elizabeth M EM, Hernández Daniel D, Miller Chris P CP, Haas Kelsey M KM, Irie Hanna Y HY, Lee Su-In SI, Blau C Anthony CA, Villén Judit J"],"name_synonyms":["Triple-Negative Breast Carcinoma, TN breast cancer."],"description_synonyms":["MCF.10A, mammary region, APR, Carcinoma of breast NOS, Breasts, Rab interactor activity, human being, determination, Breast Neoplasms, Neoplasms, number, APOER, Human Mammary Neoplasms, 1110004P21Rik, 9030402K04Rik, Homo sapiense, Tumor, presence, Human, Homo spaiens, CD91, Homo sapien, Breast Tumor, MCF 10A, BREAST NEOPL, Homo sapians, OTTMUSG00000009329, Line, Carcinoma of the Breast, treatment, BC, Triple-Negative Breast Carcinoma, Mammary Neoplasms, human disease, Human Mammary, Homo sapients, TN breast cancer, cell, Mammary Neoplasm, Carcinoma of breast NOS (disorder), NOXA, Mammary Carcinoma, beta-Trypsin, mammary part of chest, Human Mammary Carcinomas, cell line cell, D4Ertd314e, man, cell line, Cancer of the Breast, CA -
