If the situation can be predicted in advance, the radiation dose can be tailored to individual patient. In this study, we attempted as the retrospective analysis to predict acute adverse events by therapeutic high dose rate of radiation based on urinal metabolomic molecules that is easy to collect as a non-invasive biosamples. The 11 patients with prostate cancer who was given a treatment of VMAT (76 Gy/38 fractions) were collected urine. As a result, Seven patients (approximately 64%) who is genitourinary toxicity (Grade 1) and four patients who is non-adverse events were observed. Then, the 630 urinal metabolites were analyzed using mass spectrometer (QTRAP6500+, AB SCIEX), and 234 relevant molecules of these were extracted as biological and clinical applications from the absolute quantified values of metabolites using the MetaboINDICATOR tool.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository><name_synonyms>Human, Modern., human being, Man (Taxonomy), Homo sapiens, man, Man, human, Modern Man</name_synonyms><description_synonyms>Therapy, hereditary prostate cancer, cancer of the prostate, Helical Tomotherapies, Helical, Prostate Neoplasms, Intensity-Modulated, Neoplasms, familial, secondary metabolites, Volumetric-Modulated Arc Therapy, neutral molecular compounds, Intensity Modulated, Volumetric-Modulated Arc Therapies, Prostate Cancers., Acute onset, primary metabolites, Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapies, Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy, Radiotherapy, Prostatic Cancer, Neoplasm, Prostatic Cancers, NOS, Cancer of Prostate, molecule, molecula, Volumetric-Modulated, molecules, Tomotherapies, Volumetric-Modulated Arc, Intensity Modulated Arc Therapy, Intensity-Modulated Arc Therapies, metabolite, Radiotherapies, Molekuel, Cancers, cancer of prostate, Prostate Neoplasm, Intensity-Modulated Arc, Prostatic Neoplasm, Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy, Cancer of the Prostate, metabolites, Arc Therapies, Helical Tomotherapy, Therapies, Intensity-Modulated Arc Therapy, Arc Therapy, Prostatic, prostate cancer, PC, Prostate Cancer, Tomotherapy, Prostate, Cancer</description_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Homo sapiens</name><description>Exploring predictive molecules of acute adverse events using urinary metabolites in volumetric-modulated arc therapy for prostate cancer</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2024-06-17</first_public></dates><accession>PRJDB18027</accession><cross_references><taxon>9606</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
