In this study, we performed whole genome sequencing to determine if the integration site of the Her2 transgene was responsible for this lethality. Indeed, we report that the Her2 transgene had integrated into the Pds5b (precocious dissociation of sisters) gene on chromosome 5, as a 162 copy concatemer. Furthermore, our findings demonstrate that Her2+/+ mice, similar to Pds5b-/- mice, are embryonic lethal and confirm the necessity for Pds5b in embryonic development."],"tag":["xref:PubMed:14634087","xref:EuropePMC:PMC4559457"],"repository":["ENA"],"name_synonyms":["Erbb-2, 3.4.22.-, aprin, CG008, Materials, Laboratory, HER-2|neu, Mus domesticus, mKIAA3023, mouse, Gene, mini-ICE, CASP-14, MLN19, Cistrons, House Mouse, AW212954, Aprin, CD340, Kiaa3023, House, Mus, Mini-ICE, Mus musculus domesticus, Genetic Materials, NGL, HER-2/neu, Mice, Genetic Material, Mus musculus., c-neu, as3, AS3, mKIAA0979, Mus musculus, Genetic, Caspase-14 subunit p10, c-erbB2, Swiss, HER-2, mice, AI646570, APRIN, Swiss Mouse, pds5b, House Mice, Swiss Mice, INSDC_feature:gene, Caspase-14 subunit p19, MICE, Laboratory Mice, domesticus, MLN 19, Material, aprin-B, TKR1, Cistron, TG, Mouse, Laboratory Mouse, HER2, Neu, NEU"],"description_synonyms":["Erbb-2, 3.4.22.-, aprin, CG008, human being, Materials, Laboratory, Modern, HER-2|neu, Mus domesticus, mKIAA3023, mouse, Gene, mini-ICE, CASP-14, Cistrons, House Mouse, AW212954, Human, Aprin, CD340, Homo sapiens, House, Mus, Mini-ICE, Mus musculus domesticus, NGL, Genetic Materials, HER-2/neu, Mice, Man, c-neu, as3, AS3, mKIAA0979, Mus musculus, Man (Taxonomy), Genetic, Caspase-14 subunit p10, c-erbB2, Swiss, HER-2, mice, Swiss Mouse, AI646570, APRIN, House Mice, Swiss Mice, pds5b, Caspase-14 subunit p19, INSDC_feature:gene, MICE, man, human, Laboratory Mice, domesticus, MLN 19, Material, Modern Man, aprin-B, TKR1, TG, Cistron, Mouse, Genetic Material., Laboratory Mouse, HER2, Neu, NEU"],"additional_accession":[]},"is_claimable":false,"name":"Disruption of the Pds5b gene in B6.Cg-Tg(Wap-ERBB2)229Wzw/J transgenic mice","description":"Embryonic lethality in homozygous human Her-2 transgenic mice due to disruption of the Pds5b gene","dates":{"last_updated":"2016-05-20","first_public":"2015-09-05"},"accession":"PRJEB9805","cross_references":{"PubMed":["14634087"]}}
