Experimental ponds (0.31 ha) stocked with channel catfish were treated with varying levels of copper sulfate pentahydrate (0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 mg/L). Water samples were collected before the first treatment, weekly prior to assigned treatment for 3 weeks, then 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 8 weeks after the final treatment.
