We hypothesize that the root-secreted secondary metabolites of Haloxylon ammodendron seedlings show diverse responses to varying levels of intraspecific competition, potentially affecting plant growth, soil properties, and microbial community structure. To test the hypothesis, we ask the following research questions: (1) How do the root-secreted secondary metabolites of Haloxylon ammodendron seedlings change when exposed to different levels of intraspecific competition?
