In this study, we showed regorafenib has the ability to limit the growth, invasion and metastasis of melanoma cells but to upregulate apoptosis-prompting markers (cleaved-PARP and Bax). Moreover, ERK/E2F3 signaling influences regorafenib's ability to suppress melanoma cell growth. Ultimately, regorafenib significantly inhibits tumor growth in a dose-dependent manner in vivo. Overall design: To investigate the influence of regorafenib for melanoma cell, melanoma cell SK-MEL-2 was treated regorafenib and followed performed RNA-Seq.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository><name_synonyms>melanoma (disease), Melanomas, Melanoma, melanoma, determination, malignant, Malignant Melanoma, chemical analysis, BAY-73-4506, BAY 73-4506, Naevocarcinoma, Whole Transcriptome Shotgun Sequencing, malignant melanoma, Cell., RNA-seq, Stivarga, assay, 4-(4-(((4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)carbamoyl)amino)-3-fluorophenoxy)-n-methylpyridine-2-carboxamide, BAY73-4506, Malignant Melanomas, Malignant</name_synonyms><description_synonyms>melanoma (disease), Melanomas, Melanoma, melanoma, determination, malignant, Malignant Melanoma, chemical analysis, BAY-73-4506, BAY 73-4506, Naevocarcinoma, Whole Transcriptome Shotgun Sequencing, malignant melanoma, Cell., RNA-seq, Stivarga, assay, 4-(4-(((4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)carbamoyl)amino)-3-fluorophenoxy)-n-methylpyridine-2-carboxamide, BAY73-4506, Malignant Melanomas, Malignant</description_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>RNA-Seq analysis of the effect of regorafenib on melanoma cells</name><description>RNA-Seq analysis of the effect of regorafenib on melanoma cells</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2024-09-09</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA1143462</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE273844</GEO><taxon>9606</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
