However, little information is available on the behavior of radio-resistant leukemia in terms of gene expression profiles and intercellular communication. In this study, mRNA microarray was used to analyze the intracellular genetic network in the established radio-resistant HL60 (Res-HL60) cell line. Significant changes in the expression of 7,309 known mRNAs were observed in Res-HL60 relative to control. In addition, 7 mRNAs were determined as targets because significant changes in the expression were observed using Ingenuity analysis software, confirming the quantitative RT-PCR. However, extracellular vesicles from Res-HL60 cells did not include these target mRNAs. These results suggest that radio-resistant leukemia model is regulated by the expression and suppression of specific mRNAs, and these molecules are not transferred between cells by extracellular vesicles. Overall design: Human acute myeloid leukemia cell line HL60 was prepared after frequent irradiation (4Gy X-irradiation ×4 fractions per 4 weeks) with confirmed radiation-resistance characteristics. The extracted total RNA in wild type cell and radiation-resistant cell were performed messenger RNA (mRNA) microarray and calculate the expression of mRNAs.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Genetic network profiles associated with established resistance to ionizing radiation in leukemia cell line HL60</name><description>Genetic network profiles associated with established resistance to ionizing radiation in leukemia cell line HL60</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2025-01-30</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA1210576</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE286939</GEO><taxon>9606</taxon><PubMed>26718911</PubMed></cross_references></HashMap>
