Discovering the specific genes that define these cells is vital yet challenging due to overlapping expression patterns, limiting detection of rare cell populations using traditional approaches. By employing the computational Digital Sorting Algorithm (DSA) on microarray data we identified 129 genes enriched in murine NPCs. Overall design: Dentate gyri of mice aged between 4 and 12 weeks (five time points for our study, namely 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 week-of-age)</long_description><repository>ENA</repository></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Computationally resolved neuroprogenitor cell biomarkers associate with human disorders</name><description>Computationally resolved neuroprogenitor cell biomarkers associate with human disorders</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2025-09-08</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA1295531</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE303501</GEO><taxon>10090</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
