By SVM we selected a gene signature which discriminated patients which later developed metastasis from patients with a good prognosis. Most of the genes that were found to be informative for patients’ distant recurrence were related to the patient’s immune response. Furthermore, our microarray data confirmed the specificity and sensitivity of the angiogenesis-related genes signature. Overall design: Gene expression profiling of 67 specimens of 55 colorectal carcinomas, 7 normal and 5 adenomas was studied.</long_description><tag>xref:PubMed:22012870</tag><repository>ENA</repository><description_synonyms>Profiling, Colorectal Neoplasm, Carcinoma, Transcriptome, Colorectal Cancer, Neoplasms, Monitorings, Gene, Tumor, Gene Expression Profilings, Gene Expression, Differential Display, Transcript Expression Analysis, transcription profiling, colorectal cancer, Colorectal, mRNA Differential Displays, Transcript Expression Analyses, Gene Expression Pattern Analysis, Gene Expression Monitorings, Neoplasm, Analysis, Profilings, Colorectal Cancers, mRNA Differential Display, gene expression profiling, Colorectal Tumors, Carcinomas, large bowel cancer, Gene Expression Monitoring, Transcriptome Profiling, Analyses, mRNA, Transcriptome Profilings, Colorectal Carcinoma, Transcriptomics, Colorectal Carcinomas, Differential Displays, Cancers, Transcript Expression, Transcriptome Analysis, Colorectal Tumor, Transcriptome Analyses, cancer of large bowel, Monitoring, large intestine cancer, cancer of the large intestine, Gene Expression Analysis, Gene Expression Analyses, cancer of the large bowel, Expression Analysis, cancer of large intestine, colorectal (colon or rectal) cancer., Expression Analyses, Tumors, Cancer</description_synonyms><name_synonyms>Human, Modern., human being, Man (Taxonomy), Homo sapiens, man, Man, human, Modern Man</name_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Homo sapiens</name><description>Gene expression profiling of colorectal carcinoma</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2014-02-11</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA145219</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE31905</GEO><taxon>9606</taxon><PubMed>22012870</PubMed></cross_references></HashMap>
