Project participants are Research Institute of Physical-Chemical Medicine, Moscow Scientific and Clinical Antituberculosis Center of Moscow Government Health Department, Moscow Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology, St. Petersburg St. Petersburg Pasteur Institute, St. Petersburg Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow,Russia. All isolates were sequenced using the GS FLX+ System (Roche) and belong to three different genetic families (Beijing, Ural and LAM). This work is supported by 16.522.11.2003 grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for “Development and production of operative embodiments of diagnostic kit based on feature of the genomic organization for Russia endemic M. tuberculosis strains and suitable for the detection of drug-resistant tuberculosis”</long_description><tag>pathogen:priority</tag><tag>pathogen:bacterium</tag><tag>xref:EuropePMC:PMC4234438</tag><tag>pathogen</tag><classification>bacteria</classification><repository>ENA</repository><description_synonyms>Koch's Disease, Koch Disease, Complete, Complete Genome, Whole Genome, Infections, Kochs Disease, Whole, Infection, Sprain, Complete Genome Sequencing, Genome Sequencing, Strain., Tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Strains, Mycobacterium tuberculosis Infection, Tuberculoses, Mycobacterium tuberculosis Infections, Sprains, Strains and Sprains, active tuberculosis, Sequencing</description_synonyms><name_synonyms>Bacillus tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv., Bacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Zopf 1883) Lehmann and Neumann 1896 (Approved Lists 1980), Mycobacterium tuberculosis var. hominis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis typus humanus</name_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Mycobacterium tuberculosis SP21</name><description>Whole genome sequencing of Russian endemic M. tuberculosis strains</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2013-05-31</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA181180</accession><cross_references><taxon>1274431</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
