To investigate the specificity and mode of action of DZNeP, zebrafish embryos displaying high histone methyltransferase activity were cultured with DZNeP and histone methylation (H3K4me3, H3K9me3, H3K27me3) was mapped by ChIP-chip genome-wide promoter at post-MBT stage (5.3 hpf) . We used a custom 2.1M probe HD promoter array (Nimblegen) for ChIP and input DNA hybridization. Peak detection was done using MA2C with P=10e-4 as cutoff. Overall design: ChIP-chip experiments were performed from chromatin prepared by sonication after formaldehyde cross-linking, from embryos are the indicated developmental stages and ChIP DNA was hybridized onto the aforementioned Nimbegen promoter arrays.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository><description_synonyms>hydrolase inhibitors, EC 3.*.*.* inhibitors, EC 3.* (hydrolase) inhibitors, results., inhibition of hydrolase activity, hydrolase (EC 3.*) inhibitor, hydrolase inhibitor, EC 3.* inhibitor, EC 3.*.*.* inhibitor, EC 3.* inhibitors, hydrolase (EC 3.*) inhibitors</description_synonyms><name_synonyms>zebra fish &lt;Danio rerio>, zebra fish, Zebra danio, Zebra, leopard danio, Danio rerio, Zebra Fish, zebra danio, Danio frankei, B. rerio, Zebrafishes, Danio rerio frankei, Zebra Fishes, D. rerio, Brachydanio rerio, Fishes, Cyprinus rerio, danio, Brachydanio rerio frankei., zebrafish, Zebra danios, D. rerios</name_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Danio rerio</name><description>The S-adenosyl-homosteine hydrolase inhibitor DZNeP unspecifically affects histone methylation patterns in embryos and results in developmental aberrations</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2014-11-23</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA231116</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE53209</GEO><taxon>7955</taxon><PubMed>25260724</PubMed></cross_references></HashMap>
