Urinary cell-free miRNAs will provide potential benefits for detecting CaP, and virus-encoded hsv1-miR-H18 and hsv2-miR-H9-5p could be the important urinary diagnostic markers of CaP. It would be interesting because this is the first report about virus-encoded miRNAs related to CaP, and two miRNAs showed good diagnostic performance even in patients with PSA gray zone. Overall design: A total 14 urines from patients with CaP (7 localized and 7 advanced stage) and 5 of BPH controls were used for miRNA array analysis.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository><name_synonyms>Human, Modern., human being, Man (Taxonomy), Homo sapiens, man, Man, human, Modern Man</name_synonyms><description_synonyms>SPI3, vp165, Prostatic Adenoma, AU023367, Prostate Neoplasms, Adenomas, SMC3, Smc3, stRNA, Neoplasms, PLAP, l(3)L4740, Benign Neoplasm, CG4795, Tumor, Malignant, Xt, Capt, DmelCG9802, Small, benign prostatic hyperplasia., dSMC3, c-Cbl-associated protein, Prostatic Adenomas, capping protein, Dcap, Prostatic Cancers, SH3 domain protein 5, mKIAA1296, l(3)S097074, cg9748, Cancer of Prostate, IRAP, Prostatic Hyperplasias, Prostate Cancers, 2310065E01Rik, HACD1, CAP1-PEN, Small Temporal, DFNB91, PI-6, R85FL, CG5074, Malignancy, Adenoma, punc, Placental thrombin inhibitor, MSTP057, benign, miRNA, Primary miRNA, Mmip1, INSDC_feature:ncRNA, pri-miRNA, PI6, BMH, benign prostatic hyperplasia, MCAP, Neoplasias, DmelCG9748, DmSMC3, Prostatic Neoplasm, Prostatic Hypertrophies, Cancer of the Prostate, L3, BEL, Bel, malignant neoplasm, Clients, Prostatic, ms(3)Pneo85A, 4732490P18Rik, CG3451, Malignancies, CSPG6, pre miRNA, Smcd, Cancer, Tumors, hereditary prostate cancer, SH3P12, RNA, cancer of the prostate, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, DmRH6, Hyperplasia, Malignant Neoplasm, familial, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasias, Small Temporal RNA, CG9802, acu, SORB1, anon-85Ab, cyclase-associated protein, l(3)S047110, Primary, ms(3)neo30, Ponsin, Prostatic Hypertrophy, Client, Cytoplasmic antiproteinase, cpn, add, DmelCG4795, Micro RNA, MT, Benign, GLI3-190, Hyperplasias, CG5061, Prostatic Cancer, 9530001P15Rik, Neoplasm, NOS, CAP, Cap, Ag 72H5, Peptidase inhibitor 6, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy, pre-miRNA, BG02184, BPH, Bph, Hypertrophies, Mab77H5, Hypertrophy, pri miRNA, miRNAs, PTI, primary cancer, CG33979, Micro, l(3)85Ac, CAP/Vinexin, Temporal RNA, GLI3FL, Benign Prostatic, AI854843, CG9748, cap, 77H5, DmelCG33979, Benign Neoplasms, Primary MicroRNA, DmSMC3/Cap, BcDNA:LD24380, Cancers, Rexin, FLAF2, cancer of prostate, Pdn, SH3D5, malignant tumor, Prostate Neoplasm, Malignant Neoplasms, HUNKI, CG18409, CG18408, Patient, Sh3d5, Acap, BAM, l(3)L3, Prostatic Hyperplasia, DCAP, SMC3L1, prostate cancer, MicroRNA, PC, DmelCG18408, HUNK1, l(2)06955, Prostate Cancer, rexin, Neoplasia, Prostate, gp160, Ag72H5, 2010309L07Rik, prostatic hyperplasia</description_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Homo sapiens</name><description>miRNA expression profiles in the 19 candidate urines (prostate cancer, CaP, patients and non-cancer subjects with benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH)</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2014-02-11</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA234350</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE54010</GEO><taxon>9606</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
