Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) are key components of this supporting framework. The present study aimed to unravel whether MSCs derived from pediatric BCP-ALL patients (leukemic MSCs) differ from MSCs derived from healthy pediatric donors (control-MSCs). Therefore, we studied their gene expression profiles after 40 hours of co-culture with primary B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells. MSCs were sorted using fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). Overall design: Six different primary mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) were cultured for 40 hours in the presence of primary B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells (derived from 4 different pediatric BCP-ALL patients). Mesenchymal stromal cells were sorted from B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells using a fluorescence-activated cell sorter (FACS). Microarray analyses were performed on these sorted MSCs. Limma analyses were performed to identify differentially expressed probesets in MSCs upon co-culture with BCP-ALL cells compared to mono-cultures of these MSCs. One sample was lost due to poor RNA quality."],"repository":["ENA"],"name_synonyms":["Human, Modern., human being, Man (Taxonomy), Homo sapiens, man, Man, human, Modern Man"],"description_synonyms":["Multipotent Bone Marrow Stromal Cells, Mesenchymal Stem Cell, Cocultures, precursor lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia, Lymphocytic Leukemia, Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Stem Cells, Progenitor Cell, Stromal Cells, Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Adipose Tissue Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cell, Wharton's Jelly Cells, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, Multipotent Mesenchymal Stromal Cell, bone marrow stromal cells, stem cells, Stromal Cell, Cell., Wharton Jelly Cells, Cocultivations, mesenchymal precursor cell, Wharton's Jelly Cell, mesenchymal stromal cell, Childhood ALL, Co-culture, Multipotent Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Lymphocytic, Adipose Tissue-Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Adipose Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells, pre-B-cell, Leukemia, lymphoblastic leukaemia, Co-cultures, mesenchymal progenitor cells, mesenchymal, Bone Marrow Stromal Stem Cells, Adult, CFU-F, MSC, Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells, L2 Lymphocytic, Acute Lymphoblastic, L1, lymphoblastic leukemia, L2, L1 Lymphocytic, Whartons Jelly Cells, Precursor Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia Lymphoma, marrow stromal cells, Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Lymphoid, Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell, Adipose Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell, ALL, data, Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell, B-cell precursor, Coculture Technique, Progenitor Cells, pre-B cell, Mesenchymal Progenitor Cells, Lymphoid Leukemia, Philadelphia-Positive, Adipose Tissue-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell, L1 Lymphocytic Leukemia, Lymphoblastic Lymphoma, B cell precursor, Mesenchymal Stromal Cell, colony-forming unit-fibroblast, Stem Cell, Acute Lymphoid Leukemia, Acute Lymphocytic, Cocultivation, Acute Lymphoid, acute lymphocytic leukaemia, Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Coculture, Bone Marrow Stromal Cell, Adipose-Derived, BMSC, Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells, mesenchymal stromal cells, Adipose Tissue Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, co-culture, Multipotent Bone Marrow Stromal Cell, Lymphoblastic, Adipose Tissue-Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cell, Childhood, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Adipose Tissue Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Adipose-Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Adipose Derived, mesenchymal stem cell, Adipose Tissue-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Acute, Mesenchymal Progenitor Cell, Lymphoma, Multipotent, Mesenchymal, Adipose Derived Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, Adipose Tissue Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell, L2 Lymphocytic Leukemia, Bone Marrow Stromal Cells, Co culture, Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia"],"additional_accession":[]},"is_claimable":false,"name":"Homo sapiens","description":"Expression data of mesenchymal stromal cells after 40 hours of co-culture with primary B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells","dates":{"last_updated":"2025-09-24","first_public":"2020-07-14"},"accession":"PRJNA394250","cross_references":{"GEO":["GSE101454"],"taxon":["9606"]}}
