Infections and IFN-I treatment were performed in parallel between WT BMDMs and BMDMs lacking genes encoding interferon-responsive factor (IRF) transcription factors, including IRF1, IRF5, and double mutant cells lacking both IRF3 and IRF7. Control cells were uninfected and not treated with IFN-I. The abundance of transcripts between these cells can be compared in order to identify genes specifically regulated by each IRF upon IFN-I treatment. Overall design: Examination of a total of 6 BMDM populations.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository><description_synonyms>Rickettsia infection, SMRZ, Immature Reticulocyte Fraction, Materials, Monocyte Derived Macrophages, RNA-seq, Gene, Monocyte Derived, infections, Cistrons, Rickettsia, Rickettsia infectious disease, Measurement of Immature Reticulocyte Fraction, tick-borne rickettsiosis, Rickettsia disease or disorder, Rickettsial infectious disease, Monocyte-Derived, Rickettsiosis, rickettsiosis, Rickettsiae disease, medulla ossium, Marrow, medulla ossea, Rickettsia Infections, Rickettsial disease, MURF1, Whole Transcriptome Shotgun Sequencing, Genetic Materials, MURF2, Yellow, Type I, interferon type I, Genetic Material, IRF, Monocyte-Derived Macrophages, Macrophage, flea-borne rickettsiosis, infection, Yellow Marrow, Interferons, Genetic, IFN type I, medullary bone, medulla of bone, Macrophages, Interferons Type I, mite-borne rickettsiosis, Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages, Bone Marrow-Derived Macrophage, Red Marrow, Bone Marrow-Derived, Monocyte-Derived Macrophage., Rickettsia caused disease or disorder, Material, Type I Interferon, Rickettsial infectious disorder, Type I Interferons, Bone Marrow-Derived Macrophages, Red, Cistron, RNF28, Interferon, Bone</description_synonyms><name_synonyms>Rickettsia infection, SMRZ, Immature Reticulocyte Fraction, Materials, Monocyte Derived Macrophages, RNA-seq, Gene, Monocyte Derived, infections, Cistrons, Rickettsia, Rickettsia infectious disease, Measurement of Immature Reticulocyte Fraction, tick-borne rickettsiosis, Rickettsia disease or disorder, Rickettsial infectious disease, Monocyte-Derived, Rickettsiosis, rickettsiosis, Rickettsiae disease, medulla ossium, Marrow, medulla ossea, Rickettsia Infections, Rickettsial disease, MURF1, Whole Transcriptome Shotgun Sequencing, Genetic Materials, MURF2, Yellow, Type I, interferon type I, Genetic Material, IRF, Monocyte-Derived Macrophages, Macrophage, flea-borne rickettsiosis, infection, Yellow Marrow, Interferons, Genetic, IFN type I, medullary bone, medulla of bone, Macrophages, Interferons Type I, mite-borne rickettsiosis, Bone Marrow Derived Macrophages, Bone Marrow-Derived Macrophage, Red Marrow, Bone Marrow-Derived, Monocyte-Derived Macrophage., Rickettsia caused disease or disorder, Material, Type I Interferon, Rickettsial infectious disorder, Type I Interferons, Bone Marrow-Derived Macrophages, Red, Cistron, RNF28, Interferon, Bone</name_synonyms></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>RNA-seq reveals genes regulated by type I interferon during Rickettsia infection in WT and Irf-deficient bone marrow-derived macrophages</name><description>RNA-seq reveals genes regulated by type I interferon during Rickettsia infection in WT and Irf-deficient bone marrow-derived macrophages</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2019-07-05</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA526887</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE128211</GEO><taxon>10090</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
