Genomes were searched for genes involved in the utilization of yeast mannan from the cell wall of S. cerevisiae. Polysaccharide utilization loci (PULs) were found in all of the isolates that show synteny to previously characterized MAN-PULs from Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron (B. theta).
