BLS was first reported in Southern China in 1953. Although complete genome sequences of some Xoc isolates are publicly available, none are from strains isolated in Southern China. Previously, we isolated Xoc strain GX09, which is hypervirulent on rice and used in rice resistance assays, from Southern China. To better understand the biology and evolution of phytopathogenic bacteria, we sequenced the complete genome of GX09 using PacBio sequencing.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola strain:GX09</name><description>Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzicola strain:GX09 Genome sequencing</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2021-05-16</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA730085</accession><cross_references><taxon>129394</taxon></cross_references></HashMap>
