METTL3 is essential for embryonic development, and its dysregulation is linked to various diseases including metabolic disorders and cancer. Here, we provide insight into this by generating Mettl3fl/fl Alb-Cre (M3LKO) mice carrying a hepatocyte-specific deletion of Mettl3. RNA-seq and MeRIP-seq analyses of mRNA identified significant dysregulation of metabolic genes in M3LKO mice. Overall design: Enrichment of m6A methylated RNA in 4 murine WT and METTL3 knockout livers, and transcriptome-wide sequencing of polyadenylated RNA in 6 and 8 WT and METTL3 KO livers, respectively."],"tag":["xref:PubMed:34599880"],"repository":["ENA"],"additional_accession":[]},"is_claimable":false,"name":"Transcriptome-wide maps of m6A RNA methylation marks in murine liver","description":"Transcriptome-wide maps of m6A RNA methylation marks in murine liver","dates":{"last_updated":"2025-09-24","first_public":"2021-09-17"},"accession":"PRJNA744537","cross_references":{"GEO":["GSE179680"],"taxon":["10090"],"PubMed":["34599880"]}}
