One of plaque piece was treated with 10 mM of modified-cyclodextrin and 0.5 mM of QT-NP for 24 h, and the other plaque piece was incubated with PBS as control group. The experimental results indicated that modified-cyclodextrin and QT-NP could also efficiently reduced atherosclerotic plaque in humans via cholesterol dissolution and anti-inflammation effect.
