alteration of gut microbiota.We used high-fat diet (HFD) with streptozotocin injection to induce T2D in C57BL/6 mice. One group of these mice were administered with HL by oral gavage after 2 weeks of diet intervention and continued for additional 4 weeks (DM-HL group), and the others were given distilled water as disease control (DM group).
