Genome-wide DNA methylation profiling was conducted in 6 oral tongue squamous cell carcinomas and matched normal tissues. In the present study, the Illumina Infinium HumanMethylationEPIC BeadChip (EPIC array) was used to characterize the DNA methylation pattern across approximately 850,000 CpG dinucleotide methylation loci using DNA isolated of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Overall design: Total genomic DNA from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections of oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma (OTSCC) and normal tongue tissue were processed on the Infinium MethylationEPIC array (850K). Samples that passed the quality controls using GenomeStudio and BeadArray Controls Reporter (Illumina), were analyzed to asses their DNA methylation profile.</long_description><repository>ENA</repository></additional><is_claimable>false</is_claimable><name>Genome-wide DNA methylation profiling in tongue squamous cell carcinoma</name><description>Genome-wide DNA methylation profiling in tongue squamous cell carcinoma</description><dates><last_updated>2025-09-24</last_updated><first_public>2023-03-22</first_public></dates><accession>PRJNA865738</accession><cross_references><GEO>GSE210443</GEO><taxon>9606</taxon><PubMed>36398465</PubMed></cross_references></HashMap>
