Fertility in males of reproductive age is affected by the endocrine abnormalities and comorbidities associated with obesity, which has become a primary cause of male infertility. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of testes in obese individuals has not been done, so we chose to use this technique to study the mechanism of infertility in an obese mouse model. Overall design: Male ICR mice were randomly divided into a conventional diet (CD) group and a high-fat diet (HFD) group at the age of 6 weeks. Testes of the two groups were collected and analyzed by scRNA-seq."],"repository":["ENA"],"description_synonyms":["Policies, Testosteron, Testoderm, obesity disease, Utility, Adiposis, MAGE-E1 antigen, Easterlin, Obesity, Obese, unspecified, 8-Isotestosterone, single-cell transcriptome sequencing, single-cell RNA-seq, Histerone, 17-beta-Hydroxy-8 alpha-4-Androsten-3-one, Microeconomic, AndroGel, Theory, 17beta-Hydroxy-4-androsten-3-one, Utility Theories, Testim, Household Consumption, Having too much body fat, 17beta-hydroxy-4-androsten-3-one, Economic Policies, Androderm, Microeconomic Factors, Overweight and obesity, Living Costs, AI847422, Economic Conditions, 17beta-hydroxyandrost-4-en-3-one, testosterone, 4-androsten-17beta-ol-3-one, Testis Blood Barrier, testosterona, HCA1, Capital, Testosterone, Household Consumptions, Economic, Testis-Blood Barriers, Testopel, Theories, 17 beta Hydroxy 4 Androsten 3 one, Policy, Economic Policy, TESTOSTERONE, Home Economics, Indices, Index, Testosterone Sulfate, Conditions, Hypothesis, Testis-Blood Barrier, Alpha-dystrobrevin-associated MAGE Protein, scRNA-seq, Androst-4-en-17beta-ol-3-one, Factor, Production, Androtop, Living Cost, obesity, Macroeconomic Factors, Consumption, Economics, single cell RNA sequencing, Economic Condition, Sustanon, Household, Consumer Price Index, Consumer Price, Utility Theory, DAMAGE, Hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein 1, Obesity [Ambiguous], Obese (finding), 17 beta Hydroxy 8 alpha 4 Androsten 3 one, OBESITY, Macroeconomic, Sterotate, obesity disorder, Obesity (disorder), Testis-Blood, Factors, Barrier, RGD1560259, Obesity NOS, testosteronum, Consumer Price Indices, Adiposity, OBESITY NOS, Blood-Testis Barriers., Home, Andropatch, Condition, Easterlin Hypothesis, Remittance, Blood Testis Barrier, 17-beta-Hydroxy-4-Androsten-3-one, Cost of Living, Barriers, Testolin, Blood-Testis, mMage-e1, Remittances, 8 Isotestosterone"],"name_synonyms":["Policies, Testosteron, Testoderm, obesity disease, Utility, Adiposis, MAGE-E1 antigen, Easterlin, Obesity, Obese, unspecified, 8-Isotestosterone, single-cell transcriptome sequencing, single-cell RNA-seq, Histerone, 17-beta-Hydroxy-8 alpha-4-Androsten-3-one, Microeconomic, AndroGel, Theory, 17beta-Hydroxy-4-androsten-3-one, Utility Theories, Testim, Household Consumption, Having too much body fat, 17beta-hydroxy-4-androsten-3-one, Economic Policies, Androderm, Microeconomic Factors, Overweight and obesity, Living Costs, AI847422, Economic Conditions, 17beta-hydroxyandrost-4-en-3-one, testosterone, 4-androsten-17beta-ol-3-one, Testis Blood Barrier, testosterona, HCA1, Capital, Testosterone, Household Consumptions, Economic, Testis-Blood Barriers, Testopel, Theories, 17 beta Hydroxy 4 Androsten 3 one, Policy, Economic Policy, TESTOSTERONE, Home Economics, Indices, Index, Testosterone Sulfate, Conditions, Hypothesis, Testis-Blood Barrier, Alpha-dystrobrevin-associated MAGE Protein, scRNA-seq, Androst-4-en-17beta-ol-3-one, Factor, Production, Androtop, Living Cost, obesity, Macroeconomic Factors, Consumption, Economics, single cell RNA sequencing, Economic Condition, Sustanon, Household, Consumer Price Index, Consumer Price, Utility Theory, DAMAGE, Hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein 1, Obesity [Ambiguous], Obese (finding), 17 beta Hydroxy 8 alpha 4 Androsten 3 one, OBESITY, Macroeconomic, Sterotate, obesity disorder, Obesity (disorder), Testis-Blood, Factors, Barrier, RGD1560259, Obesity NOS, testosteronum, Consumer Price Indices, Adiposity, OBESITY NOS, Blood-Testis Barriers., Home, Andropatch, Condition, Easterlin Hypothesis, Remittance, Blood Testis Barrier, 17-beta-Hydroxy-4-Androsten-3-one, Cost of Living, Barriers, Testolin, Blood-Testis, mMage-e1, Remittances, 8 Isotestosterone"],"additional_accession":[]},"is_claimable":false,"name":"Single-cell RNA sequencing Reveals Obesity-Induced Inhibition of Testosterone Production and Damage of Blood-Testis Barrier Integrity","description":"Single-cell RNA sequencing Reveals Obesity-Induced Inhibition of Testosterone Production and Damage of Blood-Testis Barrier Integrity","dates":{"last_updated":"2025-09-24","first_public":"2024-05-07"},"accession":"PRJNA999209","cross_references":{"GEO":["GSE239391"],"taxon":["10090"],"PubMed":["38834587"]}}
