Genome-wide methylation analysis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma


ABSTRACT: Genome-wide methylation analysis was performed by methylated DNA immunoprecipitation-CGI microarray analysis. A pool of four cancer samples without lymph node metastasis, two pools of four cancer samples with lymph node metastasis, and three metastatic lymph nodes were prepared from the patients, and analyzed by MeDIP-CGI microarray.

BACKGROUND: The presence of lymph node metastasis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients is a critical factor for decision of treatment strategy.
