Project description:In order to dissect the roles of sequence-specific transcription factors WRKY25, WRKY33 and WRKY75 in apoplastic ROS signaling, a transcriptome profiling of ozone response was done using two arabidopsis mutants: a double mutant wrky25 wrky33 and a single mutant wrky75. The single mutant lines used for transcriptomic analyses were obtained from NASC: wrky25 (SAIL_529_B11) and wrky33 (SALK_006603) were crossed to generate double mutant wrky25 wrky33. T-DNA insertion mutant wrky75-25 (N121525) was obtained from NASC.

Project description:Transcriptional profiling of WT, cytosolic ascorbate peroxidase 1 (Apx1) and peroxisomal catalase 2 (Cat2) single mutants and apx1/cat2 double mutant plants, subjected to 0h and 1h of high light irradiation in order to identify molecular mechanisms underlying the observed growth retardation and stress resistance of apx1/cat2 double mutant plants. 4 genotypes x 2 conditions experiment including WT, apx1, cat2, and apx1/cat2 plants treated with 0h and 1h of high light irradiation. Project description:We report the high-throughput profiling of H3K9me2 in fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. By obtaining 1-10 ng immunoprecipitated DNA, we generated genome-wide H3K9me2 maps in single deletions of the selected chromatin modulating genes, histone H3 mutants and ccp1Δepe1Δ double mutant in fission yeast. We find that the subtelomeric heterochromatin distribution is highly variable under different genetic perturbations and small heterochromatin islands are formed at clr4 and clr2 loci in ccp1Δepe1Δ.
