Project description:We investigated miRNA expression in Holstein dairy cow of mammary gland with different producing quality milk using high-throughput sequence and qRT-PCR techniques. miRNA libraries were constructed from mammary gland tissues taken from a high producing quality milk and a low producing quality milk Holstein dairy cow, the small RNA digitalization analysis based on HiSeq high-throughput sequencing takes the SBS-sequencing by synthesis.The libraries included 4732 miRNAs. A total of 124 miRNAs in the high producing quality milk mammary gland showed significant differences in expression compared to low producing quality milk mammary gland (P<0.05). Conclusion: Our study provides a broad view of the bovine mammary gland small RNA expression profile characteristics. Differences in types and expression levels of miRNAs were observed between high producing quality milk and a low producing quality milk Holstein dairy cow
Project description:We performed tiling array experiments to examine whole genome expression in human tissues. We investigated tissue specificity and association between evolutionary sequence conservation and transcription. A total of 22 tissues (bone marrow, cerebellum, colon, cortex, fetal brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, prostate, salivary gland, skeletal muscle, small intestine, spinal cord, spleen, stomach, testes, thymus, thyroid, trachea and uterus) and 2 cell lines (HeLa and SH-SY5Y) were examined in 36783546 regions of the Human genome in this study. Project description:Recombinant protein of Pseudomonas aeruginosa hook protein FlgE was added to cultured human corneal epithelial cell line for 4 hours and the mRNA expression profiling was performed using Agilent 8*60K array and dual labeling. Three triplicates were included for FlgE treatment and PBS control respectively, thus producing three pairs of samples for array, namely E1PBS1, E2PBS2, E3PBS3.
