Kaplan2026 - Gallus gallus GEM iES1470 (based on iES1300), stoichiometric and annotation refinement

ABSTRACT: Refined genome-scale metabolic model of Gallus gallus (chicken), iES1470, derived from iES1300 through correction of stoichiometric (mass/charge) imbalances, expanded metabolite and reaction annotation, and integration of HumanGEM-derived intracellular transport reactions to improve network connectivity. The model comprises 1,470 genes, 2,570 metabolites, and 2,698 reactions, with overall Memote quality score improved from 18.06% to 37.92%.
