ZNF750 controls epithelial homeostasis by inhibiting progenitor genes while inducing differentiation genes, a role underscored by pathogenic ZNF750 mutations in cancer and psoriasis. How ZNF750 accomplishes these dual gene regulatory impacts is unknown.
