Transcription profiling of three human multiple myeloma cell lines treated with 5-aza-2-deoxycytidine and/or trichostatin A


ABSTRACT: To identify epigenetically silenced genes in multiple myeloma (MM) cell lines and to determine the effects of 5-aza-2-deoxycytidine and trichostatin A on gene expression. We treated 3 multiple myeloma cell lines (MM1, NCI-H929, U266) with 5-aza-2-deoxycytidine and/or trichostatin A.

To identify epigenetically silenced cancer-related genes and to determine molecular effects of 5-aza-2'-deoxycytidine (Aza-dC) and/or trichostatin A (TSA) in multiple myeloma (MM), we analyzed global changes in gene expression profiles of three MM cell lines by microarray analysis.
