Transcription profiling of Arabidopsis Col-0 and NDED3 knock out plants subjected to drought stress for different lengths of time


ABSTRACT: Arabidopsis thaliana ecotype Col-0 and NCED3 knockout mutant (nc3-2) were used for transcriptome analyses. We were provided the mutant line carrying a T-DNA in the AtNCED3 by GABI Kat Team in Max-Planck-Institute. We named it nc3-2. Drought stress treatment for the analysis was performed as follows. Plants were grown in soil under illumination (16 h of light and 8 h of dark cycle/ 40-60 umol photons/s/m2) at 22 °C for 4 weeks. The aerial parts were detached and exposed to drought stress on the paper for various hours at 22 °C under 50 % humidity.
