Transcription profiling of E. coli SL2 cells treated with cycloheximide and LPS


ABSTRACT: E. coli lipopolysacharide was treated on SL2* cells for 1hr, 4 and 12hrs respectivly. cDNA from those cells was compared with control. For one sample, cyclohexamide was treated for 1hr and then LPS was treated for 4hrs. Then, compared with control.

IkappaB kinase (IKK) and Jun N-terminal kinase (Jnk) signaling modules are important in the synthesis of immune effector molecules during innate immune responses against lipopolysaccharide and peptidoglycan. However, the regulatory mechanisms required for specificity and termination of these immune responses are unclear.
