Initiation of Invasion-Metastasis Cascade by DNp73


ABSTRACT: The experiment was designed to profile the transcriptome of human melanoma cell lines that differ in their delta ex2/3p73 expression. The differential gene expression of SK-Mel-29 stably overexpressing delta ex2/3p73-cDNA (SK-Mel-29.DNp73) was analyzed in comparison to parental cells with integrated empty vector . The DNp73-related gene expression signature was compared to the transcriptome of SK-Mel-103 and SK-Mel-147 cells with high endogenous DNp73 expression.
