Transcription profiling of Plasmodium berghei-infected hepatocytes at different times post-infection

ABSTRACT: Using in vitro models, total RNA was extracted from Plasmodium berghei infected hepatocytes at different time points (6,12,18,24 hours post-infection) and hybridized with Affymetrix microarrays. These genes are candidate for functional analysis, and we aim to use different tools to manipulate their expression and assess their impact in the infection.
