RNA-seq of human oesophageal adenocarcinoma OE19 cell line treated with lapatinib


ABSTRACT: To investigate changes to gene expression associated with resistance to lapatinib, we performed ATAC-seq on OE19 cells treated with 500 nM lapatinib for 1, 7 and 35 days and vehicle control (DMSO) for 1 day.

Oesophageal adenocarcinoma (OAC) is a deadly disease with poor survival statistics and few targeted therapies available. One of the most common molecular aberrations in OAC is amplification or activation of the gene encoding the receptor tyrosine kinase ERBB2, and ERBB2 is targeted in the clinic for this subset of patients.
