Whole genome sequencing of adaptors selected by sub-inhibitory amount of brefeldin A in Candida albicans

ABSTRACT: In Candida albicans, the lab strain SC5314 was grown in YPD broth supplemented with 4ug/ml brefeldin A for 24h. The culture was washed, diluted and spread on YPD. Randomly 120 colonies were tested for tolerance to brefeldin A. Two adaptors (FY200 and FY201) obtained tolerance. These two adaptors were sequenced.

In total, we got 30 tolerant adaptors. We sequenced the adaptors as well as the parent.
