Transcriptome analysis of Saccharomyces cerevisiae petites

ABSTRACT: Two methods were used to induce petites from S, cerevisiae wild type strain MK288:.(1) MK288 was spread on YPD plate supplemented with 8 μg/ml fluconazole (2) MK288 was grown in YPD broth supplemented with 25 μg/ml ethidium bromide. Transcriptomes of the petites (TJ140 and TJ235) were compared to the wild type.
