Transcriptomic measurement of PVN after CNO treatment of AVP-hM3Dq-mCherry transgenic rats

ABSTRACT: Transcriptomic measurement of the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) after clozapine-N-oxide (CNO) treatment of AVP-hM3Dq-mCherry transgenic rats. At 120 min after subcutaneous injection of Saline (1 mL/kg, n = 5) or CNO (1 mg/kg, n= 5), rats were deeply anaesthetized with three types of mixed anaesthetic agents (in combination with 0.3 mg/kg of medetomidine, 4.0 mg/kg of midazolam, and 5.0 mg/kg of butorphanol). PVN were isolated with tissue punch and frozen in RNA-later until sequencing.
