3' sequencing of activated murine T cells + / - inhibition of arginine methylation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Activation of naive T cells stimulates increased proliferation coupled with a global switch to usage of proximal poly(A) sites. We wanted to investigate how this polyadenylation switch would be impacted by inhibition of arginine methylation. Therefore, we activated naive murine T cells with anti-CD3, anti-CD28 and rIL-2 treatment plus and minus co-treatment with arginine methylation inhibitors LLY-283 and GSK-715. Following this treatment, cells were harvested after 72 hours. We sequenced the 3' ends of poly-adenylated mRNAs extracted from these cells.
