Gene expression profiling of human pancreatic cancer cells treated with RRSP-RBD-TAT and RRSP-TAT compared with untreated controls
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Human pancreatic cancer cells (PANC-1) were treated with a protein-based pan-RAS inhibitor (RRSP-RBD-TAT), a control construct (RRSP-TAT), or vehicle control. After 48 hours of treatment, total RNA was extracted and subjected to gene expression profiling using Agilent SurePrint G3 Human GE 8x60K microarrays. The objective of this experiment was to characterize transcriptional changes associated with RAS pathway inhibition and to compare the molecular effects of RRSP-RBD-TAT with control treatments. Raw intensity data were processed and used for downstream analyses including gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA).
