Geranylgeranylacetone and geranylgeraniol effects on HEPG2 cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: HepG2 cells (5 × 10⁵ cells/mL; 1 mL per well) were seeded in 24-well plates. The following day, the cells were exposed to 50 µM geranylgeraniol (B1,B2,B3), 40 µM geranylgeranylacetone (C1,C2,C3), or vehicle control, ethanol (A1,A2,A3). Each condition was tested in triplicate. After 24 h of treatment, the cells were detached by trypsinization, and total RNA was extracted using TRIzol reagent according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The samples were analyzed by RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), and each treatment group was compared with the vehicle control: A vs B, A vs C
